Cronos Staking Guide via Keplr Wallet

First step: Create an account in Keplr Wallet

The first step is to create an account in the Keplr wallet, which is a non-custom (decentralized) wallet that allows you to interact with the COSMOS ecosystem. For this, you must enter https://www.keplr.app/ and follow the steps explained below to register.

Keplr wallet is available for Google or Firefox browser extension and mobile app on IOS or Android.

Next, the option to select the mnemonic seed will appear, here you can choose between 12 or 24 words. It is important that you write the words in order on a piece of paper and keep it in a safe place. Then you must choose a username, a password and confirm it.

Once this is done, you will be asked to enter the Mnemonic Seed again and the process will be finished successfully. You have already created your account in Keplr Wallet!

Second step: Deposit CRO in Keplr Wallet

When entering Keplr from the browser extension you will only be asked to enter the previously created password.

Once you log in to your account, you can see the total balance of your available assets. To deposit your CRO from an Exchange or another Wallet, you just have to select the "Deposit" option and copy the Cronos address from Keplr and then paste it where you have your CRO tokens and proceed to send them.

Third step: CRO Staking

Once you have the CRO tokens in Keplr you must proceed to stake them by selecting the option "Manage Portfolio in Keplr Dashboard". Next, a panel will appear as shown in the image and there select Cronos.

Later, there you look for Coinpayu as a validator and select ">".

Subsequently, the information box will be shown where the commission and the APR offered appear, then select "Delegate".

Place the CRO number you want to delegate and select “Delegate” again.

Finally, you must confirm the transaction, pay the fee and select "Approve".

That's it, then you can view your staking status and claim your rewards.
